Marine Service As Agent Marine Service Co. Ltd. acts as agent on behalf of companies that supply Japanese vehicles. Our role and responsibility is one of advice, arrangement of shipping and documentation only (both by request). We describe all our vehicles as accurately as possible to the best of our ability.
Deposits A deposit is required made payable to Marine Service Co. Ltd. before any bids can be accepted for vehicles in auction houses. Payment can be made through debit card (by Paypal or directly) or direct bank transfer to us.
Successful
purchase If a bid is successful, you are required to
pay us for a successful bid on your vehicle. You will be informed of a
successful bid by email and on your personal account homepage. If a bid is
successful you will be given 3 working days transfer the balance. Payment
method is by bank international telegraphic transfer only. If a bid is unsuccessful you are free to
request refund of your deposit or continue bidding until you are successful
with a vehicle purchase from the auction house. Once a bid us forwarded to us, it becomes a
legally binding contract between you and us and is indication that you accept
our full terms and conditions. Once payment for the vehicle FOB, C&F or
CIF value has been made to us by Bank International Telegraphic Transfer, we
will then contact you to arrange shipment of your vehicle for you from a
Japanese port to your required port in your destination country. If you wish to
use a specific shipping agent please let us know. Buy now/One
price cars If using the Oneprice.net service there is a
charge imposed by Oneprice.net of 20,000 Yen on each vehicle purchased. Non payment If the payment is not made on the due date, we
will issue a notice of non payment. If payment is not received within 7 days
after notice of non payment then you are not entitled to your deposit back. We
will be entitled to sell your vehicle in order to recover our losses. Our
liability Marine Service Co. Ltd. will ensure the
information presented is correct to the best of our abilities. If any errors
have been made by third parties, such as auction houses or shipping companies,
we will not take any responsibility. (If there are any problems, Marine Service
Co. Ltd. will act as your agents, investigate the mistake and advise you on
suitable action.) We accept no responsibility or liability for late deliveries
or vehicle damage from shipping company. We provide damaged or repaired vehicles on an
AS IS basis. These are bought for clients on the proviso that Marine Service
Co.,Ltd. will not be held accountable in any way for their condition. We recommend
caution in regards to purchasing these vehicles.* (Please see auction house
exception clauses.) For electrical items such as stereo systems,
TV, Navigation systems we do not guarantee that these parts will work or be
compatible when they reach you. This is due to differences in region codes and
navigation discs needed for these to work. These are sold as is. Vehicles
with aftermarket modified parts are not guaranteed as we are not able to
determine the quality of these parts compared to the standard parts. Vehicles
however are inspected on purchase and any faults are listed in vehicle
descriptions. It is the responsibility of the customer to understand
the legal requirements for getting an imported vehicle on the road in their
country. Marine Service Co. Ltd will take no responsibility in this area. Your vehicle will be stored at a secure
compound. Marine Service Co. Ltd. accepts no liability for any loss during
storage. During shipment every effort is made to ensure safety of your vehicle
and its contents. If any theft occurs Marine Service Co. Ltd. accepts no
liability. The issue has to be taken up with the shipping company by the
customer. Our liability to you for any breach of
contract or negligence shall be limited to and money paid to Marine Service Co.
Ltd. only. We shall not be liable for any consequential loss including without
limitation any loss caused by interruption of your business and physical damage
to your vehicle through shipping and whether directly or indirectly caused by
any breach of contract or by negligence by us or by any servant or agent of
ours. If any part of these terms and conditions shall be found to be unlawful,
it shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remainder of the
conditions. Auction House exemption clauses
If a vehicle has been purchased, and there is
a defect not mentioned on the auction sheet, a complaint can be lodged with the
Auction house directly. Please note that cases which fit into any one
of the following categories are exempt: 1. Vehicles which has been damaged and
repaired (or not repaired)* 2. Vehicles which has done a mileage of over
100,000 Km 3. Vehicles which has been purchased below the
price of Yen 200,000 4. Vehicles which has been first registered
more than 10 year ago Please be sure to read the contents of the auction
sheet thoroughly and select your car with care. In case the defect found at the after-purchase
of the car was of the nature which we could not have observed at the auction
hall prior to the purchase, please note that we will not be able to take any
responsibility for that defect. Cancellation Basically, cancellation after your bid is
successful is not accepted. However, if you would like to cancel your order, we
request payment of only the cost of the vehicle FOB plus sales tax of 5%
on the original value and transport costs in order to ensure that we do not
incur a loss. Full invoices and receipts will be provided in such a case. Our Bank
